Hello, Tori. I feeling a bit lonely and it's been awhile since we last talk. I thought we could have a nice conversation. So how are you doing? ^_^;;

I'm sorry you're lonely. Why is that?

I'm doing well. I've been working a lot more on doing fanart and whatnot for conventions that I have coming up. I'm also just stating to do some original traditional pieces in ballpoint pen that I'm excited about. I think it will be fun!

Other than that, I help run a reptile rescue now and that's been a mixture of happiness and heartbreak. I love helping and rescuing the animals and I will be adopting one soon, but it's so sad to see them die when we can't save them. It's been a good experience overall though. I'm learning a lot more about reptiles and my love for them grows every day. Do you like reptiles at all?

How have you been?

1. That's quite alright, dear. I'm use to it. But if you want to know it's mostly because people on dA don't seem to talk to me as much when I use to post a lot of my artwork in my gallery. When I use to post at least two or three drawings within one month. But after drawing for non-stop I ended up burning myself out which resulted in my artist's block. Sure I can come up with the ideas but I find the motivation on the drawing paper. It's like this for for over a year now. I haven't post any new drawings into my gallery as of late, beside posting a few old drawings here and there. Not only that but I haven't talked to my other friends on dA as of late either, well except for Blackcat-13, she's the only one that I talked to time to time.

As for the ballpoint pen art, you should be excited it's a whole new experience from pencil drawing. Because pen drawing, you really have to think of what you're going to draw down, if you messed up big then you either start all over or adapt. I have work on free-handed pen drawings before even though most of them were done in a hand notepad. Do you get that feeling when you put that ballpoint pen on the paper, I mean what do you feel when you using a tool that you don't normally use when you're drawing?

2. Oh, I see. reptile rescue, eh? Well that's good to hear you're having a good time with, it's always experience new things in life, because you never know where you might get inspiration for your artwork. And yes, it never feels good to see something die, but that's just part of life. I mean there's not one artist I know who haven't experience the lost of a pet or family member. even I have seen the death of a love one a few times in my life, whether it was a beloved pet or dearest friend or family member. But as long as you remember all the good memories you have with them, they're never truly gone.

As for your question yes and no, I do like to look at reptiles in pictures, books and on the internet. But never in real life, due to a bad experience. You see when I was only 7 years old, my older sister once had a pet iguana name "Egg", yes I know not very original name but my sister wasn't one for making up names. Anywho, She didn't really take care of it well, I mean most of the time she just left him in his homemade cage, she never really handed him very much so when she try to pick him up he would try to run away or lashed out. An iguana's sharp teeth and claws are nothing to laugh about. Well to make a long story short, he somehow got out of his cage and out of my sister room. Now my sister room was on the 2nd floor of our house, which has a balcony hallway over the main living room. And I was playing in that living room at that time minding my own business all of a sudden something heavy fell on my back, next thing I know was running all over the living room and house for that matter screaming my head off saying "GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!" while both my big bro and sis were chasing me trying to stop me and get whatever's on my back off. Eventually I tripped over one of my toys then fell to the ground, Egg got off my back and ran off somewhere, leaving me a crying mess with my back cover in bad claw scratches.

 Yeah, I feel you on that one. It seems to be happening with me as well. Lots of people don't comment any more that used to and it's probably because I'm just not as active here. I still draw all the time though, I just don't have the motivation to post stuff.

I love doing ballpoint pen stuff a lot and even though I haven't done anything with it in a couple years, it still feels totally natural to pick it right back up. same with pencil stuff. I hardly to traditional drawing, but I can just pick it up where I left off. Maybe I'm unique in that way, who knows.

Iguanas can be terrifying. Just yesterday the woman who owns the rescue got whipped by our iguana Olive. She's never done that before, but we were all cleaning up and there was just too much commotion for her. Even so, 99% of our animals are completely harmless: especially the ball pythons. they are just dolls. Only one snake is sort of mean, but she's a tiny little tot that can't hurt you if she wanted to, which she always does.
