Monochrome

i've always wanted to draw something like this. i drew it more realistic, just cuz. Blue is such a wonderful color. this was inspired by a picture of the Utaite Valshe. she is one of the best singers ever. anyway, i love, love, love how this turned out. i think he's so hot x3. am i the only one? am i just weird?

while doing this, i discovered an awesome new way to draw hair. this time, i started with black and added in the highlights. i think starting with the dark color is a lot easier and it looks a lot better in the end. i will definitely use that technique more often. it allows me to make defined fly away hairs and i like that.
