yay, Kira in the ocean! i really, really like how this turned out. Kira, doesn't look creepy anymore, right? haha, i'd sure hope not because i think this looks adorable. i can't tel if i really like how i did the water or if i hate it. hmm, you guys don't think it looks weird, do you? i'd hope not! it took forever! FOREVER! i drew every shine of water my hand and even had to do all the glow effects on sai instead of photoshop so that made it take even longer. the sky took about two seconds (and it shows . . .) and everything didn't take too much time. i really think this is the best yet. then again, i usually say that! but seriously, i've always wanted to draw a decent beach picture and i've tried so many times and i think i finally succeeded. do you think i did?

i was originally drawing this so i could use it for the hair tutorial i'm working on, but i realized its not showing that much of her hair so i decided that wasn't a good idea. hey, if you have a character of yours that you would like me to do a headshot of, i can do that for my tutorial! hurry up and tell me if you do.
